Long Term Disability You have the option to insure your dependents for a death benefit amount of $10,000.00 per dependent. Dependent Life Insurance Mercer employees have the option of purchasing Supplemental Life Insurance through payroll deduction. You may request up to two times your annual salary in supplemental life insurance at an extremely competitive premium. Supplemental Life Insurance Mercer University provides Basic Life Insurance on all full-time employees. The value is equivalent to one times your annual salary up to a maximum of $50,000.00. Basic Life Insurance The Mercer Dental Plan is a self-insured plan. You may use any licensed dentist to provide your dental care and treatment. Mercer Dental Plan The Mercer Health Plan is a self-insured plan that does not restrict participants to using a specific physician or hospital.
